Hierarchy
The original homepage carries strong information but distributes it through many equal-weight headings. The new experience creates one arrival message, three clear service paths, a signature bridal narrative, and a direct booking rhythm.
Interactive Experience Redesign · Case Study
The redesign keeps WordPress.com as the source of truth, preserves MillzStylez’s burgundy/rose identity and existing service language, then rebuilds the presentation around editorial photography, calmer hierarchy, stronger semantics, and responsive motion.
The original homepage carries strong information but distributes it through many equal-weight headings. The new experience creates one arrival message, three clear service paths, a signature bridal narrative, and a direct booking rhythm.
The existing photography is treated as the premium asset it already is. Full-bleed and editorial crops replace gallery-density, while the existing #752f52 family anchors the system instead of generic beige-and-gold bridal styling.
Reveal, drift, dissolve, and occlusion are used as pacing tools. Desktop gets more photographic depth; mobile gets shorter single-axis movement, no long pinned scenes, and native-feeling touch scroll.
GlossGenius remains the booking destination. The redesign makes “Book your date” and “Inquire” persistent decisions rather than forcing visitors to decode which page or service flow comes next.
WordPress REST powers pages and media. SvelteKit renders the experience. Production WordPress presentation and DNS remain untouched. This preview is a reversible headless layer, not a migration.
The public crawl indicates testimonials exist as a capability, but no reliable testimonial copy is exposed in the readable homepage text/API. This build does not invent quotes; structured testimonial content should be modeled before that section ships.
